Installing Working Papers SmartSync on the Server

A licensed copy of Working Papers SmartSync must be installed on the same server as the SmartSync File Service. This is used by the server for certain processes, such as file conversion. This does not require you to purchase an additional Working Papers SmartSync license. Contact CaseWare Support (support@caseware.com) if you experience any issues with licensing.

Working Papers can be installed either before or after SmartSync Server. The user installing Working Papers requires administrator access to the server.

Installing Working Papers

To install Working Papers, access the download link by logging into your MyCaseWare account from the CaseWare website. The link can be found on the Software Downloads page.

Note: The file that you will be downloading has a long name that ends in .exe. When saving to your computer, do not change the name of the file. This could result in installation and licensing issues.
