MONTHSTR Function

The MONTHSTR function returns the string value of the month based on the Regional Settings specified for your computer. This function is only applicable for an alphanumeric cell.

Syntax

MONTHSTR(expression)

Example 1

MONTHSTR(SYSDATE())

Where the current system date is June 30, 2007, the cell displays June.

Example 2

MONTHSTR(CLP13)

Where CLP13 represents the year-end date in the Engagement Properties. If the year-end date is December 31, 2007, the cell displays December.
