A simple review process involves two participants; a person to prepare the work and a person to review the work. The process is iterative and ends when the desired results are reached.
CaseWare© Working Papers offers a number of features to support the electronic review and sign off process. These features include Issues, Role Sign Offs, and History and Milestones. Each feature is optional to use and is integrated with the Working Papers software.
Use these features to track your engagement:
- Workloads using issues to identify and report inconsistencies or incomplete data in the client file.
- Progress using role sign offs to define who is responsible for what work in the client file and track when it gets completed.
- State using history and milestones to maintain a running log of major events and changes to supporting documentation and the client file as a whole.
