Anti-virus Exceptions
Some anti-virus software may conflict with Working Papers and SmartSync functionality by locking required files as they are scanned. The following procedures will exclude the sync files from being scanned and should be implemented on workstations and servers running and hosting SmartSync files.
Exclude files with the following extensions from the virus scan for all versions of Working Papers:
- *.ac
- *.ac_
- *.ac$
- *.acx
- *.cdx
- *.csc
- *.cv$
- *.cvw
- *.cwlock
- *.cwz
- *.dbf
- *.fpt
- *.lck
- *.locks
- *.tvr
Exclude files with the following extensions from the virus scan for SmartSync versions of Working Papers:
- *.clg
- *.sci
- *.scl
- *.sec
- *.sfa
- *.sfc
- *.sfcX
- *.sfg
- *.sfl
- *.sfv
- *.sgp
- *.slg
- *.spf
- *.spm
- *.spo
- *.tmp
Also, exclude the following executable files:
- cvwin32.exe
- cvwin64.exe
- cwcef.exe
- cwhrpt32.exe
- cwhrpt64.exe
- cwin32.exe
- cwin64.exe
- cwpackager.exe
- cwpackager64.exe
- import32proxy.exe
- pkwareproxy32.exe
- tracker.exe
- tracker64.exe
- twainproxy32.exe
