PEG Template Installation - New User

Step 1: Download

Step 1: Download the installation file

Prerequisites

  • Ensure that you have CaseWare Working Papers version 2018 or later installed. If your office has not yet upgraded to Working Papers 2018 or later, sign into MyCaseWare and download the Working Papers installation file from Software Downloads.

Procedure

  1. Sign in to MyCaseWare.
  2. Click Software Downloads.
  3. Click the Templates tab.
  4. Locate your template product and click Download to download the installation file.

Procedure

  1. Locate the installation file that was downloaded from MyCaseWare, then double-click it to launch the installation wizard.
  2. On the Welcome screen, click Next to continue.
  3. Accept the End User License Agreement, then click Next.
  4. We recommend using the default Program Folder and Document Library file paths. Click Finish.

    Note: The CaseWare®/CPA Canada PEG templates currently do not support a network installation. The templates must be installed on each workstation where they are to be used. For more information, refer to the System Requirements.

  5. The template will begin installation. When complete, the dialog will indicate a successful installation. Click Close.
