Using The Calculation Editor

  1. Select the cell you want to modify.

  2. On the Home tab, click Cell.

  3. Under Calculation Properties, click the images\calctool_shg.gif to launch the Calculation Editor.

  4. Select the Functions, Variables, or Database tab for the information you want to enter.
  5. Select the category of function, variable or database you want to enter. The members of that category will be displayed in the middle window.
  6. Select one of the items displayed in the middle window. A definition of that function, variable or database will be displayed in the window to the right.
  7. Double-click a function, variable or database to insert the calculation.
  8. Click applicable operator keys to build the calculation as you would on a physical calculator.
  9. Continue switching between the calculation tabs as necessary to build the calculation.
  10. Click OK when you are done.
