Exporting Selected Pages of a Document as PDF

  1. Select a section of the document by clicking and dragging over it to highlight it. It is also possible to export a specified range of pages, in which case it is not necessary to highlight document contents.
  2. On the File tab, click Print, and then click Print.
  3. Select the elements of the document that you want printed.

    To print

    Select

    Colored text black

    The Print colored text black check box.

    Print any skipped text in the document

    The Print skipped text check box

    Print markers for cells with overrides

    The Print Override Dots check box

    Print flags for cells with changed flags set

    Print rounding indicators for cells with rounding

  4. Under Print Graph, select whether to print the graph in color or monochrome (black and white), or to use the defaults.
  5. Click OK. The Print dialog displays.
  6. Under Select Printer, select CaseView PDF.
  7. Under Page Range, select:

    Pages

    To print a selected range of pages. Enter the applicable page numbers in the from and to boxes.

    To print just one page, enter the same page number in both boxes.

    Selection

    To print the active page, that is the page where the cursor currently sits.

  8. Click Print. The Save as PDF Document dialog displays.
  9. In the File name field, type in a name for the PDF file. If necessary, select an appropriate folder for the new file.
  10. If desired, use PDF Security Options to prevent recipients of the PDF documents who have PDF creation software from editing data in the PDF files.
  11. Click Save.

CaseView automatically outputs the document in PDF format.
