About the Knowledge Library Entries List
The Knowledge Library Entries List displays all of the Knowledge Library content in the Index and shows the associated properties of each entry. See To import Knowledge Library entries into the index for more information about adding Knowledge Library entries to this list.
The entries can be sorted and manipulated in various ways to make them easier to manage. Users can create customized Views that control the fields and the entries to display in the list. Views can be further organized by creating custom Groups of Views.
The columns of the list can be hidden or reordered by pointing at the column headings and right-clicking. On the menu that appears make a selection to quickly hide the column, sort columns, or access a dialog to reorder the columns.
The list of Knowledge Library entries shows each entry's physical properties, for example, name, file, and section label, as well as other properties assigned to it in the Knowledge Library Index, such as any custom properties. Hidden |
If selected, the Knowledge Library entry will not display to the end user in Form mode. This applies when using an event or scripting to allow users to pick a Library entry for insertion. |

Owner |
Displays the name of the team who has ownership of the entry and the right to change its properties in the Knowledge Library Index. Note that custom properties ownership overrides the ownership of the Knowledge Library entry; that is, any owner of a custom property can change it regardless of whether or not they have ownership of the whole Knowledge Library entry. |

Equivalent Group |
Allows the user to add entries to a customizable combo list. The advantage to using this field, rather than creating a custom property, is that this field is fully indexed. When blank, this field displays as a check box in the Knowledge Library Selection dialog. If not blank, it displays as radio buttons allowing the user to choose one, and only one, of the options. Unlike regular radio buttons, however, the user can deselect the selected radio button to select none of the options. |
