Repackaging a Knowledge Library Index

Repackage a Library Index to send content to an end user. At the time of repackage, a filter may be applied to package only the content relevant to the intended recipient.

  1. In the Knowledge Library Index, click images\kli_repackage_button_shg.gif.
  2. Type in or browse for the destination folder for the new Knowledge Library Index and associated Knowledge Library files. Under File name, type a name for the new Knowledge Library Index.
  3. Type a label for the new Knowledge Library index.
  4. Check the "Delete all contents in the destination file before copying" option. Click Next.

    If there are files in the destination folder a warning box appears prompting to either clear the files or select a new location for the new Knowledge Library Index.

  5. Type in the filter that will define which Knowledge Library entries to include in the new Index.

    Note: When including an entry, CaseView copies the entire Knowledge Library document in which the entry is located, even entries in that file should be excluded by the filter.

  6. By default, the new Knowledge Library Index contains the same team login information. Select "Copy only referenced users" if the new Knowledge Library Index should contain only those teams that are actually associated with the selected Knowledge Library entries.
  7. If desired, give the new Knowledge Library Index a new account management password.
  8. Click Finish. The Repackage process runs and the new Knowledge Library Index will open when complete.
