About Bookmarks

CaseView's bookmark feature allows areas of the document to be tagged for easier navigation. Once a tag has been assigned, a document designer can build a button cell, or make use of CaseView's Document Map function, to help an end user in Form Mode navigate through the document. Often these button cells will make use of the Launch Bookmark Dialog or Jump to Bookmark events.

The Document Map will list all applicable tagged paragraphs in an easy to follow hierarchy. Users can clearly see which areas of the document are tagged and can navigate to those areas quickly. Assigning bookmarks to the Document Map saves the need to create button cells or similar calculated functions to help the end user navigate.
