Manual Section Sort Dialog

Use this command to sort the sections manually in the order you choose.

Section #

Represents the numbering order of the sections. As you move paragraphs the section numbering remains stationary. Use the number as a guideline to determine the order of the sections in the document.

Section text

The section text displays the first line of each section in the sorting group. Select a line and then choose the option you want.

To show more of the section, click the arrow buttons to display an additional paragraph for each section. Each time the arrow button is clicked an additional paragraph displays. The maximum number of paragraphs that can be displayed is based on the number of paragraphs in the smallest of the sections within the selection. For example, only a maximum of three paragraphs will display if one of the section only has three paragraphs even if all the other sections have more than three.

Move up

Moves the selection up one line in the Section text window.

Move down

Moves the selection down one line in the Section text window.

Reset order

Returns to the original arrangement of the sections.

Changes made here affect the order of each section in the sorting group.
