Save as Custom Dictionary Dialog

Saves the current dictionary settings as a custom dictionary.

Save in

Select the drive and folder where you want to store the Dictionary file.

A listing of the existing Dictionary files in the selected folder appears below. The files shown are restricted to those of the file format specified in the Save as type box.

File Name

To save a Dictionary file with a new name, type a new file name.

To save a Dictionary file with an existing file name, select the name in the list or type the current name. When you click the OK button, CaseView asks you if you want to overwrite the existing Dictionary file.

Save as type

By default, CaseView chooses to save the new Dictionary file in a Dictionary file format (*.dic extension). Use the drop-down list to select a different file format for the file.

Dictionary files (*.dic)

If selected, the file will be saved as a Dictionary file with a. cvw extension.

All Files (*.*)

If selected, the folder listing displays all files in the current folder. Use this selection to view other file formats available or to overwrite a file of a different type with the new Dictionary file.
