Pie Options Tab - Graph Properties Dialog
Format (1/2)
Graph Width
Select the width for the graph up to a maximum width of 15 inches.
Graph Height
Select the height for the graph up to a maximum height of 15 inches.
New Look
Select to enable the improved look.
Note: Some features will be enabled while others will be disabled when the New Look option is checked

Placeholder
Controls the appearance of the graph on-screen. Use this command to hide the graph and reduce its appearance on-screen to a percentage of its original size.

Pie Type (only when the New Look option is checked)
Select whether the graph should be in the form of a Pie, Doughnut, or Torus.
Border Style
Select the type of border to apply to elements in the graph.
Show Label
Select whether numbers, labels, or both should be displayed in the graph. The numbers can be percentages or numeric values, as determined by the Representation option from the Pie Options - Data tab.
Colors
Select to display the graph in either color or in grayscale.
Grayscale Printing
Select to have the graph print in grayscale regardless of the option selected under Colors.
Label Position (only when the New Look option is checked)
Select whether the label should be positioned outside, inside the end, or at the center of the graph.
Show Legend
Select the placement of the graph legend to show at the top, bottom, left, or right of the graph. The legend provides a key to the data that corresponds to the various colors of the graph. Select Not Show to display no legend for the graph.
Legend Overlaps Graph (only when the New Look option is checked)
Select this option to show a legend overlapping the graph, based on the Show Legend selection.
Radius (only when the New Look option is not checked)
Manually set the radius of the graph. The value refers to the percentage width of the graph. A zero percentage causes CaseView to automatically calculate the radius.
Diameter (only when the New Look option is checked)
Manually set the diameter of the graph. The value refers to the percentage width of the graph. A zero percentage causes CaseView to automatically calculate the diameter.
Slice Start Position
Select the starting position of the first pie slice in degrees, where zero represents the 3 o'clock position moving counter clockwise.
Slice Grouping
Data points that fall under the percentage value selected will be grouped under one slice labeled "Other". The data points are listed at the bottom of the graph. Select No grouping to display a slice for each data point.

Enclose Graph with Borders
Select to enclose the whole graph with a border.
Note: The border will be a single solid black line.
Shadow Style
Select the effect to apply to the pie graph. Effects include the ability to draw a shadow around the pie chart, show the pie chart in 3D relief, or a combination.
Gradient Style
Select a style to apply a shading and lighting effect to the pie graph.
Pie Angle (only when the New Look option is checked)
Indicate the orientation angle of the graph.
Data
Data to Graph
Use this selection to specify defaults for the graph information.
Data Series
If multiple data series were created in the Data tab, select the series you want to display in the current pie graph.
Representation
Specifies how the data will be presented on the pie chart. To have data points expressed as a percentage, click Percentage. To have data points expressed as numeric values, click Numeric Values.
If selecting Numeric values, select the appropriate rounding rules. To hide zeroes according to the rules established for the document under the Tools tab, Rounding command, select the Use Document Rounding option.
Use Document Rounding
Select to apply the CaseView document rounding rules under the Tools tab, Rounding command. The current document rounding rules appear next to the option.
Data Rounding
To round the figures in the graph, select the option you want in the Data Rounding box. If selecting rounding to 10's, the number 452 will be rounded to 45.
Display Zero
If selected, zeroes display for numbers after rounding is applied to them. For example, if rounding to the 1,000s, the number 22,222 displays in all labels as 22,000 (22,222 rounded down) with the option selected, and as 22 with this option not selected.
Decimal Points
To specify the number of decimal places to the right of the value, select the option you want. Data in the graph can be displayed with a maximum of 3 decimal places.
Slice Customization
Specifies options for customizing the appearance of the pie chart.
Default
Select to display all data points in the series.
Select Slices to Explode
Select to emphasize a particular data point by slightly moving the pie slice out of the pie graph. Click the data point(s) you want to emphasize.
Select Data Points to Pie
Select to manually select the data points in the pie graph. Click the check box next to the data points you want to appear in the pie graph.
