About Knowledge Library Index Views and Groups
Views
Views are defined sets of fields that can be created and used in the Knowledge Library Index to organize the Knowledge Library entries.
Views are completely customizable and may contain as many or as few fields as desired. The user creating the view can set the order of the fields and filter information to make the selections shown in the view more specific. Once saved, users can select the view from the drop-down menu in the Knowledge Library Index to activate it.
Groups
Groups are collections of views within the Knowledge Library Index. Views can belong to more than one group. Groups can be used with certain CaseView events to customize the Knowledge Library information available to the end user.
