Edit Tab Dialog

Modifies the position and alignment of tab markers on the horizontal ruler.

Use Cell Group

Select a group tab to a group tab marker to the paragraph containing the insertion point or all paragraphs in the selection. When selecting a group tab, the properties of the dialog are unavailable as editing of a group tab stop is not permitted in this dialog. To use a regular tab, choose None from the list and enter the applicable tab position and justification.

Tab Position

If None is selected as the cell group, the position of the tab on the horizontal ruler.

Justification

Left

Aligns text and cells to the right of the tab marker.

Center

Centers text and cells under the tab marker.

Right

Aligns text and cells to the left of the tab marker.

Leader

If you would like to add or modify a line drawn between tabbed entries, select a line style for the leader.

Display only tab

Text or cells aligned under the tab marker will skip when printed if this check box is selected.
