What's new in Working Papers 2025: Update 1

Learn about the features and fixes available to you in the latest release of Working Papers.

Features

This release includes the following new features:

  • The Cloud login dialog now uses the CEF browser engine by default, providing improved performance during the login process.

  • Added support for importing data from Sage 50 UK v32 (2025).

  • In the Engagement Properties, you can now select TaxCycle as your tax vendor. Once selected, the vendor information will flow into the GIFI Export dialog.

Fixes

This release includes fixes to the following issues:

  • When exporting a CaseView document to HTML or Inline XBRL, multi-line paragraphs in table rows spanning a page break export only the first line, truncating the rest.

  • After locking down an engagement and setting it to read-only, external documents in new sync copies are not set to read-only.

  • Installing Working Papers 2025 does not always create the required CWLS registry keys, resulting in licensing issues for some users.

  • Running the Automap function while on Windows 11 24H2 occasionally results in an application crash.

  • GoSystem M3 tax adjustments are not fully registered in exported files, resulting in missing balances for certain codes.

  • The final trivial materiality value is not correctly reflected in leadsheets.

  • In Tracker, right-clicking after shift-selecting multiple files causes the selection to revert to a single file.
