Issue Notes, Review Notes and Client Discussion Notes

During the course of the engagement, staff may identify matters or key issues that require further discussion with the partner or practitioner. Some examples include client service issues, highlights of specific operational trends or significant representations made by management.

When planning for the meeting with the client, the staff or practitioner may wish to make a list of points for discussion. Documentation of client discussion points allow the preparer to identify various matters to be discussed with the client and to provide a cross-reference to the related work paper.

Reviewing the work of assistants, and the documentation included in a file is an important element of quality assurance within a practice. Review notes are provided that allows a reviewer to identify issues and provide a cross-reference to the related work paper.

You can customize the appearance of the Document Manager to include an indicator for documents that have issues attached and documents that have uncleared issues.
