Integrate CaseView with SmartAnalyzer

You can integrate CaseView with IDEA's SmartAnalyzer tool to perform pre-designed tests on imported datasets.

Note: You must have IDEA 12.1 or later installed on the same workstation as CaseView. For IDEA licensing information, visit www.caseware.com/products/idea.

To integrate CaseView with SmartAnalyzer:

1. Ensure you are working in Design Mode.
2. On the ribbon, click Tools | IDEA SmartAnalyzer.
3. The Start IDEA SmartAnalyzer dialog displays. In the Working folder field, click Browse... and navigate to the location of the IDEA working project that you want to associate with your engagement file. Click Select, then OK.

The associated project launches in IDEA SmartAnalyzer. For information on using SmartAnalyzer, press F1 on your keyboard while in the SmartAnalyzer application.
