Launch IDEA from CaseView

You can launch IDEA from the CaseView interface by associating your engagement file with an IDEA working project.

Note: You must have IDEA 12.1 or later installed on the same workstation as CaseView. For IDEA licensing information, visit www.caseware.com/products/idea.

To launch IDEA from CaseView:

1. Ensure you are working in Design Mode.
2. Associate your engagement file with the applicable IDEA working project.
3. On the ribbon, click Tools | Launch IDEA project.

The associated project launches in IDEA. For information on using IDEA, press F1 on your keyboard while in the IDEA application.
