Jazzit Fundamentals - March 27, 2026 Update

The modules listed below are dated March 27, 2026 in your Resource Centre JZUPDATE RC update control. Remember that Jazzit Fundamentals updates are cumulative. Updating to this release will include all features and functionality from prior releases, together with any corrections made to the templates. Caseware Working Papers 2025 is required for this Resource Centre update.

Corrections and Enhancements

JZUPDATE RC Update control

  • Added a warning to the changelog and maintenance buttons that appears if the document is not connected to an update file.

GS GST/HST reconciliation – detailed method

  • Revised and updated rates, notably including the change to provincial tax for Nova Scotia beginning April 2025. The systems that automatically detect the entity’s province now use all common province abbreviations.

G1 GST/HST reconciliation – quick method of accounting options

  • Revised and updated rate tables, which are now presented in a more commonly used format.

CP Financial statements home menu

  • The 2 year column control button in the Columns tab of the home menu now reflects modes where percentages are not available when the 9 column statements are active.

IS 2 column income statement

  • Corrected an issue that was causing the diagnostic for a discontinuity in opening retained earnings to not appear in some situations.
