Letter Signatures

Most letters, including the Additional Letters (Q1 - Q9 and QA - QK) have the signature block at the bottom of the letters. Your Jazzit Administrator can customize this area in the Resource Centre if desired. (HG module).

Letter signatures support custom electronic signatures, specific to your firm. Please see How to insert electronic signatures into Jazzit Checklists for more information on setting up e-signatures.

Number Name Description

Complimentary close

Use the popup menu to select your desired complimentary close or input your own text into the field.

Space for signature

Increase or decrease the spacing for the signature.

Partner name

Use the checkbox to print or skip the signatory name. Use the popup menu to select another name. The names are populated from the Partners Name section in the Firm profile (RD) KLIB module.

Your firm may have also added the electronic signature option which will retrieve an image of the signature for the partner name selected. The password to turn this signature on is specific to each partner name. We recommend you switch the signature off after the document has been sent to PDF as this deletes the image from the document.

Ensure the Draft Stamp is disabled and reload headers/footers in the Document settings area.

Role/position

Use the checkbox to print or skip the signatory role/position. Use the popup menu to select an alternative role or input your own text into the field.

Email

Use the checkbox to print or skip the signatory email address. The email address is populated from the Partners Name section in the Firm profile (RD) KLIB module.

Firm name

Use the checkbox to print or skip the firm name. The firm name is populated from Firm profile (RD) KLIB module.

Designation

Use the checkbox to print or skip the designation. The designation is populated from Firm profile (RD) KLIB module.

c.c. name

Use the checkbox to print or skip the c.c. field. Use the input cell to type in the c.c. name field.
