Filtering SyncLog

Using CTRL+F12 to access the synchronization log will automatically filter the displayed information based on the cursor's location:

  • With the Show Versions dialog open, the log displays entries specific to the document in question.
  • Selecting a document on the Document Manager displays entries specific to that document in the SH database.
  • On interfaces, such as the Working Trial Balance or Adjusting Journal Entries, the log displays results according to the applicable database.
  • With the Synchronization Properties dialog open, the log displays items related to the selected synchronized copy.

For known key information, filter the log using the address bar:

  • cw:synclog.htm?id={GUID} - filters by the entered GUID.
  • cw:synclog.htm?session={sessionid} - filters by the entered Session Identifier.
  • cw:synclog.htm?alias={database} - filters by the entered two letter Database Identifier.
  • cw:synclog.htm?alias={FILE}- filters all results pertaining to external documents.

The Sync log is filtered based on user input.
