Customize Type Dialog

Edit or create new issue types. Issue types can be a useful tool to organize and sort your issues.

Option Description
ID

Enter or modify the unique Id for the issue.

Type

Enter or modify the name to associate with this issue type. This description displays in drop-down lists for issue types; for example, when adding an issue the text entered in this field will appear in the Type drop-down list of the New Issue Dialog.

Roll Forward

Rolls an issue type forward in the new client file created during a year-end close.

  • Allow Overwrite

    Allows other users to change the default for the issue type when editing or adding an issue.

Retain on Cleanup

Retains the issue type when a cleanup is performed.

  • Allow Overwrite

    Allows other users to change the default for the issue type when editing or adding an issue.

Used as Review Note

Displays this issue type in Review on the Go. In Cloud, you can filter issues that have this option selected.

Note: Review on the Go has been discontinued in Working Papers 2018 (Update 1) and above.

Layout

Opens the Customize Issue Layout dialog.
