Cloud-based file storage

Cloud-based file storage is an increasingly common method to improve your file management process. Many firms are adopting this solution to give their staff easy access to the firm's library.

Some common Cloud-based storage services include:

• CaseWare Cloud

• Microsoft OneDrive

• Dropbox

• iChannel

If your firm is using a third-party storage solution for their Working Papers files (i.e. a solution other than CaseWare Cloud), do not open the files directly from the storage solution. You must download the file to your local workstation first and re-upload the file afterward, otherwise you risk corrupting the file beyond repair.
