Document Map

The Document Map displays a list of tagged areas in a document for simplified navigation. Clicking on a tagged area will jump the active display to that area in your document.

To display the Document Map:

  • On the ribbon, click Home | Document Map.
  • On the ribbon, click View | Document Map.

To automatically display the Document Map:

  1. Ensure you are working in Design Mode.
  2. On the ribbon, click Document | Settings.
  3. In the Document Settings dialog, click the File tab.
  4. In the Other group, select Display Document Map at startup.
  5. Close and reopen the document.

The Document Map displays automatically.

Notes:

  • Paragraph tags must have the Include in bookmarks attribute to display in the Document Map.
  • You can expand or collapse all branches of the Document Map by right-clicking the window and selecting Expand All or Collapse All.
