Document Map
The Document Map displays a list of tagged areas in a document for simplified navigation. Clicking on a tagged area will jump the active display to that area in your document.
To display the Document Map:
- On the ribbon, click Home | Document Map.
- On the ribbon, click View | Document Map.
To automatically display the Document Map:
- Ensure you are working in Design Mode.
- On the ribbon, click Document | Settings.
- In the Document Settings dialog, click the File tab.
- In the Other group, select Display Document Map at startup.
- Close and reopen the document.
The Document Map displays automatically.
Notes:
- Paragraph tags must have the Include in bookmarks attribute to display in the Document Map.
- You can expand or collapse all branches of the Document Map by right-clicking the window and selecting Expand All or Collapse All.
