Known issues
The following known issues affect the current version of Working Papers and related products.

CaseView frequently displays script errors when opening documents on Windows 11.
Solution: See Frequent script errors when opening CaseView documents on Windows 11.

Working Papers 2022 and above closes abruptly when trying to open a Cloud engagement file.
Workaround: See Known issue - Working Papers cannot open Cloud engagement files.

When importing a Caseware tax export into CCH Axcess Tax, the import process completes with errors. Some conversion codes fail to import, reporting that the record format is not supported.
Solution: CCH is working on a GL Bridge and GL Direct update that will resolve this issue in the near future.

Document links to external Microsoft Office files may incorrectly open files from other Working Papers engagements if they share the same document number.
Workaround: Downgrade your Office installation to version 2309 or older.

Launch Command Prompt as an administrator (right-click Command Prompt and select Run as administrator).

Run the following command: - cd %programfiles%\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\ClickToRun\

Run the command applicable to your Office channel (note that this issue does not currently affect Office semi-annual channels):

Working Papers fails to convert parent files from version 2022 or earlier when a user downloads a child sync copy of the file from Caseware Cloud.
Workaround: Search for and download a child sync copy of the file using Working Papers 2023, rather than Caseware Cloud.

Users on a network license that cannot connect to their Network License Server do not see the 3-day "grace license" dialog upon launching Working Papers.
Workaround: The status of the network license and number of days remaining in the grace license can be viewed under File | Licensing.
