ODBC

Open Database Connectivity (ODBC)is a requirement for several imports from accounting software programs into CaseWare Working Papers. These programs include:

• Access Accounting
• Accpac (Advantage Series)
• Connected Accounting & ERP
• MYOB (Direct)
• Sage Accpac ERP

You will be able to successfully import from these programs once Working Papers detects that the ODBC engine and driver have been installed on your machine. The ODBC components can be obtained from our website at http://www.caseware.com/downloads/wp-downloads/odbcupd.exe. To set up the ODBC driver, save the download to its own folder and run the executable odbcupd.exe.
