Drag-And-Drop
Drag-and-drop functions the same way as it would in other Windows applications. Functions that are available with drag-and-drop:
- A Tool Tip indicating the operation and the folder information where the document or file will be placed.
- A solid black line indicating where the document or file will be placed along with the indentation corresponding to the tree level.
- Drag and drop files onto Manual documents to replace the entry.
- Drag and drop files onto placeholder documents to replace the placeholder.
- Drag and drop files onto the Working Papers Document Manager.
- You can drag-and-drop files from Working Papers into the Files pages on CaseWare Cloud. Your entity must be integrated with CaseWare Cloud and you must be viewing Cloud within Working Papers.
Notes
- Drag and drop will not work if you are logged on to Working Papers as an administrator.
- Dragging or copying the same email from Outlook to the Working Papers Document Manager multiple times will cause an error. This is a design feature in Windows to avoid save conflicts.
