Additional Document Library

The additional document library (ADL) enables firm authors to store less commonly used documents outside of the Master Template. Maintaining an additional document library improves performance during file creation by reducing the number of documents to load into the file.

Note: If you are a template user and want to add content from the additional document library to your file, see Adding Document Library Content.

To add documents to the additional document library:

  1. Open your Audit template file in Working Papers.
  2. On the ribbon, click Document | From Library | Document Library.
  3. In the Document Library dialog, click the Source drop-down menu and select the additional document library. The name of the additional document library is based on your Audit template (e.g. ADL-AuditINT).
  4. Click Edit.

The additional document library displays. You can start adding documents such as work programs and checklists using the same method as you would in the Master Template.
