Document Map

The Document Map displays a list of tagged areas in a document for simplified navigation. Clicking on a tagged area will jump the active display to that area in your document.

To display the Document Map:

On the ribbon, click Home | Document Map.
On the ribbon, click View | Document Map.

To automatically display the Document Map:

Ensure you are working in Design Mode.
On the ribbon, click Document | Settings.
In the Document Settings dialog, click the File tab.
In the Other group, select Display Document Map at startup.
Close and reopen the document.

The Document Map displays automatically.

Notes:

Paragraph tags must have the Include in bookmarks attribute to display in the Document Map.
You can expand or collapse all branches of the Document Map by right-clicking the window and selecting Expand All or Collapse All.
