Status bar

The Status bar displays information about the current document at the bottom of the CaseView window.

Option Description
Document status

Displays the current status of the document (e.g. Ready), including the various states of recalculation and pagination that CaseView performs in the background.

Lock status

Displays "LOCKED" if the document is read-only or the client file has been locked down.

Page number

Displays page numbering information for the current document in the format Page <printed> <actual>/<total>. For example, Page 9 11/21 would indicate a page that prints as page 9, but is actually the 11th page of a document containing 21 total pages. This could be the result of skipped content, or it could be an indication that the title and table of contents are not included in the numbering.

Clicking the page number in the Status bar displays a navigation panel which you can use to change pages.

Overwrite (Insert) Displays OVR to indicate that Overwrite (Insert) is currently on.
Caps Lock

Displays CAP to indicate that Caps Lock is currently on.

Num Lock

Displays NUM to indicate that Number Lock is currently on.
