About user identification
Each Working Papers user has a user ID to help identify them in the file. You can create your own user ID the first time you open a Working Papers file on your workstation, or on the ribbon, click Tools | Change Identity.
Option | Description |
---|---|
User ID | Enter or select a user ID. IDs can be up to 20 alphanumeric characters in length. |
Full Name | Enter a full name for use in identification. |
Initials | Enter three characters. These initials are used in role completion fields. |
Manage | Click to open the Manage Identities dialog, where you can create, edit, delete, and otherwise manage your user IDs. |
Working Papers automatically fills in the user ID for all subsequent files that you work on, based on the information saved in your computer's registry. A list of users who have accessed a file is recorded in the file's history.
