Smart Currency/Unit

Sinking

Applies a currency or unit symbol to the first cell in the section. Using a sinking currency or unit symbol guarantees that, no matter how many paragraphs are skipped within the section, the symbol appears in the first printed cell. For more information, see Sinking currency or unit symbol.

When applying floating currency or unit symbols, the Accept Floating Currency/Unit Symbol option (under Home | Cell | Numeric tab) must be selected for each cell in the section.

Reapply every page

Reapplies the sinking currency or unit symbol every time a page break occurs within a section. When the document is printed or previewed, the currency or unit symbol appears in the first printed cell after a page break.

Note: This option is only available when Sinking is selected.

Skip zero cells in table

Applies the sinking currency or unit symbol to the first cell with a non-zero value.

Note: This option is only available when Sinking is selected.

Rising

Applies a currency or unit symbol to the last cell in the section. Using a rising currency or unit symbol guarantees that, no matter how many paragraphs are skipped within the section, the symbol appears in the last printed cell.

When applying floating currency or unit symbols, the Accept Floating Currency/Unit Symbol option (under Home | Cell | Numeric tab) must be selected for each cell in the section.
