Work in Design Mode

CaseView documents and templates are primarily developed in Design Mode. In Design Mode, you can change any aspect of the CaseView document, including the creation and modification of cells, linkages, and text.

To access Design Mode:

• On the ribbon, click View | Design Mode.
• On the ribbon, click Home | Editing | Design Mode.

Lock Design Mode

After developing a document or template, you will want to restrict access to Design Mode to prevent changes from unqualified users. By locking Design Mode, users can only access the document or template in Form Mode.

To lock Design Mode:

1. Ensure you are working in Design Mode.
2. On the ribbon, click Document | Lock | Design Mode.
3. Enter a password to use for unlocking Design Mode. Click OK.

Design Mode is locked in the document. To unlock Design Mode, simply click Document | Lock | Design Mode again and enter the password.
