Question

How do I hide unused accounts with zero balances in my automatic documents?

Answer

You can toggle whether to display zero balances in the file's options.

To hide zero balances in automatic documents:

  1. On the ribbon, click Tools | Options.
  2. In the Options dialog, click the Documents tab.
  3. In the Display and print zero balances on group, deselect Trial Balance/leadsheets/analytical review/tax reconciliation. Click OK.

Zero balances no longer display in your automatic documents.

Note: This setting is specific to the current engagement.
