"Inconsistent indices detected" notification when opening a Working Papers file

Issue

When opening a Working Papers file, a notification pop-up displays with the error message "Inconsistent indices detected". The error does not prevent access to the file.

Solution

This issue is often resolved by performing the following actions:

1. Perform a file repair (Tools | Repair File) and select Reindexing all databases in this client file.
2. Navigate to the client file folder and delete all files with the .cdx extension.
3. Restart Working Papers.

If the issue persists or you are receiving the error for multiple files, we suggest consulting a network/implementation specialist as there may be an underlying issue with the network environment.
