Adding a CaseView Page or Note Number Reference
You can add page and note numbers references from a CaseView document to your Connector document using the Tools menu.
Prerequisites
- The reference must be from a sub-document of another (master) CaseView document .
- You must first save the master CaseView document as a PDF to index the content. In the Document Manager, right click the file and click Save as PDF. The resulting PDF can be removed after completion.
Note: If the CaseView document is changed, repeat this process to update the page or note number reference.
Procedure
- Place your cursor in the appropriate cell in Excel.
- Click the Caseview Page Number Reference or CaseView Note Number Reference option from the Tools | Reference menu.
- Select the CaseView document and the paragraph tag.
- Click OK.
Results
The page or note number reference hyperlink appears in your document.
Make sure you save your document after verifying all changes.
