Issues pane

Work on, track, and manage issues in a Working Papers file from the Issues pane. The Issues pane is divided into views that you can use to filter issues by specific properties.

To display the Issues pane, click Issues on the Navigation toolbar.

Default views

By default, the following views display in the Issues pane. To modify the default views or add your own custom views, see Customize issue views.

View Description
All Issues

Displays all existing issues.

My Outstanding Issues Displays unresolved issues that are assigned to the current user or group.
Uncleared Issues Displays issues that have been resolved but not yet marked as Cleared.
Issues by Type Displays all issues, sorted by issue type(s). You can also use this view to determine which documents have Multiple issue types.
Selected Document Issues

Displays issues that are associated with the currently selected document.

Issue columns

The following columns are available in the Issues pane. To display hidden columns, right-click a column header and click Reorder Columns.

Column Description
Cleared

Select to mark the issue as completed or no longer required.

Priority Select a priority level for the issue (Low, Normal, or High).
Number

The unique issue number. By default, the number is generated from the user's initials followed by an incrementing numeric number.

Subject

Enter a description of the issue.

Type

Select the issue type(s) from the drop-down menu to categorize the issue.

Assigned To

Select the user that you want to complete the issue.

Document

Select which document the issue affects, or select None.

Start on / Due on Select the start date and due date of the issue.
Retain on Cleanup Select to preserve the issue when performing a clean up. If the issue is associated with multiple issue types, you must enable this setting for each issue type for the issue to be retained.
Roll Forward Select to roll forward the issue into the next year file when performing a year end close. If the issue is associated with multiple issue types, you must enable this setting for each issue type for the issue to roll forward.
Description Enter an extended description of the issue.
Status

Select the current completion status of the issue.

Percent Complete Enter a percentage of completion for the issue.
Reminder Select a reminder date for the issue. This reminder only notifies the assigned user.
Resolution Enter a description of the resolution for the issue.
Created By / Created On Display the name of the user who created the issue and date it was created.
Completed By / Completed On Display the name of the user who completed the issue and date it was completed.
Cleared By / Cleared On Display the name of the user who cleared the issue and date it was cleared.
Modified On Display the last modified date for the issue.
Description Modified On Display the last modified date for the issue description.
Resolution Modified On Display the last modified date for the issue resolution.
