Known issues
The following known issues affect the current version of Working Papers and related products.

CaseView frequently displays script errors when opening documents on Windows 11.
Solution: See Frequent script errors when opening CaseView documents on Windows 11.

Working Papers closes unexpectedly when attempting to perform an import from an accounting or working papers software.
Solution: See Working Papers 2024 closes unexpectedly when performing an import.

Working Papers reports a time tampering issue and locks the application when the system time has not been modified.
Solution: Complete the standard time cleaning process. For instructions, see Time Tampering.

Document links to external Microsoft Office files may incorrectly open files from other Working Papers engagements if they share the same document number.
Workaround: Downgrade your Office installation to version 2309 or older.

Launch Command Prompt as an administrator (right-click Command Prompt and select Run as administrator).

Run the following command: - cd %programfiles%\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\ClickToRun\

Run the command applicable to your Office channel (note that this issue does not currently affect Office semi-annual channels):

When using the mouse wheel to scroll through the Print Preview for a CaseView document, the preview does not render correctly and appears distorted. This issue occurs on computers running Windows 11 version 24H2.
Workaround: Scroll through the Print Preview using the scroll bar, your keyboard or the page navigation buttons on the ribbon.
