Importing from FAST! Advantage
Requirements
If you are importing from FAST! Advantage 2.02, the required files include:

If you are importing from FAST! Advantage 2.05, the required files include:

Prerequisites
- If Protection is activated, the File permission "Import" is required to perform this operation.
Procedure

Open the client file in which you want to import.
- Navigate to Engagement | Properties.
- Specify the Tax Jurisdiction and Tax Entity for the client file. Close the dialog.

From the Engagement tab, select Import | Working Paper Software.

In the Convert From field, select FAST! Advantage and in the Version field, select the version that you want to import.
Note: Click here to see all Working Paper Software supported versions.

In the Convert Path field, type the exact path where the file you want to import resides or use Browse to locate the file manually.

To import client information, click Import Client Information. This information will be displayed in the Engagement Properties dialog.
- From the Tax Entity drop-down, select the appropriate tax entity for the client file (if applicable):
- N/A
- Corporation
- S Corporation
- Partnership
- Non-Profit
This corresponds to the Tax Entity box in the Engagement Properties in Working Papers.
- Click OK to begin importing.
- Once the conversion is completed, navigate to Engagement | Properties | Dates. Enter the year-end date for the client file as this information is not automatically imported.
Results
The information from the FAST! Advantage files will be imported into the Working Papers client file.
