Importing from WISPR (WIN)
Requirements
- DAO 3.6
- Copy the Client.mdb file to a designated directory and save the file for import. For more information, see here.
The required files include:

Prerequisites
- If Protection is activated, the File permission "Import" is required to perform this operation.
Procedure

Open the client file in which you want to import.

From the Engagement tab, select Import | Working Paper Software.

In the Convert From field, select WISPR (WIN) and in the Version field, select the default version 1.0.
Note: Click here to see all Working Paper Software supported versions.
- In the Convert Path field, select the exact path where the WISPR file (*.mbd) resides or use Browse to locate the file manually.

To import client information, click Import Client Information. This information will be displayed in the Engagement Properties dialog.
- Select the Client ID file from the Select Client ID file (*mdb) drop down list.
- To include adjusting, reclassifying, or tax detail records, select the Include adj/reclass/tax entries check box. If this box is not checked, the entries will not be included in the import.
- Click OK to begin importing.
Results
The information from the WISPR files will be imported into the Working Papers client file.
