About Disabling Links while Retaining Link Values
You can disable links from connecting to the Working Papers client file database while retaining any values returned by Connector. There are two methods for achieving this state:
- Unlinking Connector formulas
- Disabling automatic recalculation [Excel only]
Both methods prevent Connector from attempting to connect with Working Papers to update linked values. Values remain in place in Word and Excel and hold their values since the last saved recalculation. This can be useful when sending documents to administration staff or clients that may not have Connector installed on their workstation.
