About Protected Documents

Some features in Connector are disabled when a document is protected.

If...	Then...
A workbook's structure is protected	Unlinking a formula cannot be undone. Relinking is not possible.
A workbook or its structure is not protected, one of the worksheets is protected and some cells are locked	Unlocked cells will be unlinked. Unlocked cells can be re-linked.
A worksheet is protected but some cells are locked	Unlocked cells can be re-linked.
A worksheet is protected	The Insert Comment command is disabled.
The document is set to Restrict Editing	Connector cannot edit the links.
The document is set to Restrict Editing with some exeptions	Connector cannot edit the links, even if the user has permission.
The document is set to Restrict Editing with Exceptions set to Everyone	Connector has full access to edit the links.
