Authoritative References

Instead of adding hyperlinks to the guidance below each procedure, you can quickly add them to the right of the procedure with the option to have them print.

Note:

  • By default, Authoritative References do not print. To enable printing, select Print Authoritative References from the Options menu for each document.

  • To edit the Authoritative Reference, right-click on the hyperlink and select Edit | Edit Hyperlink.

  • If a firm author adds guidance to procedures that are not owned by the firm, the ownership of the procedure changes to the firm. This process creates a new procedure based on the original procedure, and the original procedure is set to be unavailable.

This online help system applies to all CaseWare Audit, Review, and Compilation products. Not all features are available in all products.
