Saving Documents as PDF

Creating a Portable Document Format (PDF) file enables you to keep a soft copy of a document in the Document Manager, or saved to another location. In addition to Working Papers and CaseView documents, the following type of files that can be converted to a PDF file: *.doc, *.docx, *.docm, *.xls, *.xlsx, *.xlsb, and *.xlsm.

The Save as PDF dialog allows you to save the new file to the Document Manager or to select a location for the created file by browsing to the appropriate folder. Files created to a folder, and not the Document Manager are not part of the client file but can be added to the client file by dragging it onto the Document Manager.

  • You cannot drag files to the Document Manager if you are running Working Papers as administrator.
