Issues Menu

Add a new issue to the selected document. The New Issue dialog opens and enables you to create a new issue, assign it to another user, fill in details, set a reminder and due date for the issue.

Launch the Edit Issue dialog to configure an existing issue.

Delete the selected issue. Issues can be deleted only by the person who created them.

Note: An issue can also be deleted in the Issue Pane by clicking in the issue and pressing Ctrl+D.

Navigate by drilling down to the document or area of the program associated with the issue.

Send the summary details of the issue to an email recipient. A text-only version of the issue appears in the body of an email using the Windows mapi function. The message includes the client file name, the file's year-end date, and the unique identifiers for both the client file and the document to which the issue is attached.

Mark the Issue as completed.

Mark the Issue as cleared.

Undo the last performed action.

Copy the currently selected content to the clipboard and remove it from the CaseView document.

Copy the currently selected content to the clipboard and also retain it within the document.

Paste the contents of the clipboard to the CaseView document at the cursor's current location.

Delete the currently selected content (typically text).

Customize Views

Launch the Issue Views dialog to create, configure, or remove Issue Views.

Customize Types

Launch the Issue Types dialog to create, configure, or remove Issue Types.

Show Columns

Select the columns to display. Columns currently showing are indicated by a checkmark next to their names.

Set Filter

Open the View Filter dialog to limit the contents of the Issue view based on set criteria.

Set Grouping

Configure the View groupings using the View Grouping dialog.

Set Sort

Open the View Sort dialog to set the sorting order for the view.

Set Columns

Open the View Columns dialog to pick which columns appear in the view and to sort the columns that display.

Set Alternate Color

Change the alternative color for the Issues Pane. A color selection dialog allows you to pick the color or create a custom color.

Configure a Find session within the Issues list.

Reload the screen, updating it for any changes.

Save the contents of the current Issues view to an Excel spreadsheet (.XLS or .XLSX).
