Show Rounded to Zero Symbol

If selected, amounts rounded to zero will be indicated by a red dot.

To specify floating attributes of the cell:

Currency/ Unit Symbol

Accepts a rising or sinking currency sign if this has been selected in the section attributes. See Using a sinking or rising currency for more information. The floating Percent symbol works the same way as the currency symbol.

Underline

Accepts a smart underline in the event of a skip in the section.

Underline Space

Accepts a space in the event of a skip in the section. This option is only applicable in table cells and allows the user to ensure that the last line of the description in one table cell aligns with the number in the next column. With this option enabled, when one or more cells in the row are underlined, the height of all cells in the whole row adjust to keep the baseline of all the cells, even those not underlined, aligned.

Select options to control the calculations in the numeric cell.

Flip Sign of Value

Returns a negative cell value as a positive value and a positive cell value as a negative value. Any calculations referenced to the cell will also return flipped positive or negative values, taking the flipped sign into consideration accordingly.

Disable Rounding

If selected, rounding will not be applied to the cell.

Positive becomes Zero

If the calculation results in a positive value, activate this check box to render the value zero. This option is useful in the preparation of financial statements when you wish to flip an account balance to another section of the statement.

Negative becomes Zero

If the calculation results in a negative value, activate this check box to render the value zero. This option is useful in the preparation of financial statements when you wish to flip an account balance to another section of the statement.

Use Decimals for Precision

Select to lock the number chosen in the Decimal Precision selector to the number selected under Decimal Points so that changing one automatically changes the other to match.

Decimal Precision

If used, the number of decimal places selected in the Decimal Precision selector represents the number of decimals stored in the cell but not necessarily displayed. These decimal places are used in calculating the value of the cell.

To have number of decimals saved in the cell for calculation purposes differ from the number of decimals displayed, ensure the Use Decimals for Precision check box is cleared, and then set the number of decimal using the selector. With the option cleared, changing this number will not change the number selected to display in the cell under Decimal Points.
