Only Show if Last Page is Greater Than

When checked, the page number skips if the last page number is lower than the number selected. This could be used to suppress page number in any single page documents, or a two-page document sent to a duplex printer.

Skip if the Page Number is on the Last Page

When selected, the page number will not display if the page is the last one in the document. For example, use the option to suppress the page number for the final page of a document to use that page as an index or back cover page. With this option selected, the page number also skips if the remaining pages are not set to accept page numbers (set in the File | Print | Page Setup).

  • In the Form Mode with editing enabled, page numbers can be edited either through either double-clicking the page number or by using the right mouse button menu.
  • Page numbering begins at the first inserted page number or Table of Contents marker it finds in a document.
