Sort Selection Command
Allows sections of a CaseView document to be sorted alphabetically or by currency.
Sort order
Select the direction or method for sorting the selected sections.
Ascending
Sorts in ascending order.
Descending
Sorts in descending order.
Manual
With this option selected you can determine a unique sorting order.
Keys
If sorting by currency is selected, use the Secondary and Tertiary key boxes to add levels of sorting in the event of a tie.
Primary Key
Select the main criteria by which you want the sort to be carried out.
Secondary Key
Select the second sorting criteria that you want to apply in the event of a tie in the primary criteria.
Tertiary Key
The tertiary key is available only if more than one column is selected for sorting. If more than one column is selected for sorting, select criteria to be used for sorting in the event of a tie in the first two criteria.
Notes
- If the area selected is entirely within a table, then CaseView performs a table sort on the selection. If the selection is a mix of table rows and paragraphs, the sort defaults to a selection sort.
