Fit Content to Screen command

Enlarges the on screen display to fit the contents of the page between the left and the right margins of the document window. This avoids having to scroll to the right or left to view text at the edges of the page. The zoom percentage of the screen automatically adjusts to the right percentage to show the whole width of the content on the screen.

Content width is calculated based on the width of the tables and tabs in the main document only, not the width of the freeze, headers, or carry forward headers. In addition, the zoom mode does not change automatically as users change the width of the document.

To access the Fit Content to Screen command, do one of the following:

On the Home tab, in the Zoom group, click Fit Content to Screen
On the View tab, in the Zoom group, click Fit Content to Screen
